Sustainability indicators for buildings

The objective of the SuPerBuildings project is to develop a logical structure for the sustainability assessment of buildings considering the environmental, economic and social performance of buildings. To define sustainability indicators for buildings and to define minimum and advanced performance levels for sustainable buildings. Approaches for effective use of sustainability indicators in different stages of building process will be developed, especially for the phases of target setting, design, construction and tendering, maintenance and building renovation. Thus the main aim is to develop sustainability indicators as an instrument for steering of sustainable building projects.
